Staci acquires Callius Gmbh in Germany
In line with its strategy and its steady business development in 2016 – France is up 7% and international is up 10%, Staci continues to expand in Europe.
In July 2016, Staci has acquired a majority stake in Callius GmbH, a logistics services provider established near Cologne. Founder and CEO Oliver Rey remains CEO and a shareholder in the company.
Thomas Mortier, CEO of STACI, is predicting a 15% growth in Callius turnover for 2017.
Thomas Mortier explained: “Since the beginning of the year, the implementation of 3 new pan-European contracts with multinational firms, has strengthen our belief in our international development strategy. Our clients welcome Staci’s proposal to handle their logistics operations in a consistent manner across Europe – Germany, UK, Benelux, Spain, France and Italy.”
Oliver Rey added: “Our companies fit perfectly together – we have a similar customer structure so we can generate various synergies. With Staci`s European network and their state of the art warehouse management system AUGUSTA, they offer the ideal platform for serving our customers across Europe with high standards and efficient processes. Staci supports our young company in our envisaged growth strategy – now as a member of Staci Group.”
This acquisition completes Staci European network with two joint-ventures that have also been established in 2016: Staci UK and Staci Netherlands.
Staci’s method to achieve double-digit growth is finely tuned: Staci exports its expertise by acquiring firms with strong synergies with Staci’s own savoir-faire, then installs AUGUSTA, its own IT system.
