As a logistics provider, Staci structures its environmental approach around two priorities: optimising the logistics and transport solutions offered to its customers. Managing the environmental impacts of its operations and sites.

COMMITMENT 4

TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS TAILORED TO OUR CUSTOMERS’ NEEDS

  • We adopt a comprehensive strategy…

Our status as a freight forwarder enables us to draw up transport plans tailored to our customers’ needs.

  • … incorporating environmental considerations

Our transport plans incorporate criteria designed to minimise their environmental impact. For each customer order, we select the most suitable solution, taking four criteria into account: delivery time, weight, volume and destination.

2030 OBJECTIVES

Reduce our GHG emissions from road transport by 35 per cent

compared to 2024

100 per cent of urban deliveries to be low-emission

Logistics solutions that take environmental considerations into account

for retail networks

COMMITMENT 5

An ambitious carbon footprint reduction strategy

  • Pooling and centralising transport flows at the heart of our approach
We pool both a customer’s transport requirements and orders on a Staci consolidation platform. These solutions for consolidating transport flows help to reduce costs and the greenhouse gas emissions associated with transport.
  • A collaborative approach with our partners
We work with our transport partners to gradually integrate environmental criteria into our operations. This includes GHG assessments, a specific plan for Low Emission Zones, and the development of low-emission transport solutions.

2025 OBJECTIVES

HAVE OUR APPROACH CERTIFIED BY THE SCIENCE-BASED TARGET INITIATIVE / SBTI

to be in line with the National Low Carbon Trajectory

  • A fair packaging policy
We adapt our packaging solutions to the content of each order with more than 80 different cardboard formats or through efficient custom solution management.
  • Prioritize products and materials with reduced ecological impact
Products labeled FSC, Ecolabel, Ecocert, etc. / recycled or recyclable / in wood from eco-managed forests. 1364 trees saved in 2020 by committing to 100% FSC recycled, 100% recyclable, 100% biodegradable paper.

2025 OBJECTIVES

HAVE ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATION

COMMITMENT 7

RECYCLE OUR WASTE

  • On average, we recycle 85% of the waste produced on our sites
We’ve adopted a robust approach for continuous improvement of our waste recovery performance
  • Re-use
Technique that transforms cardboard from the upstream flow into a cushioning product for dispatches. This reduces the amount of waste and avoids the consumption of wedging products

2025 OBJECTIVES

95% RECYCLING

of the group's waste flows

15% reduction in waste

produced in high level activities

COMMITMENT 8

REDUCE OUR ENERGY CONSUMPTION

  • A daily commitment to improve our results
30% reduction in electricity consumption due to new lighting technologies, but also to employee awareness of eco-actions.
  • Example of achievements
A warehouse opened in the Netherlands certified by Breeam, the most widespread certification for buildings internationally.
