It was 2004 when our founders decided that the world needed a company dedicated to the creation and management of content for digital screens in out of home environments. With backgrounds in marketing, print and online technology, they combined forces with a provider of managed services to create Pixel Inspiration.
We invested a lot of time in those early years discovering, in partnership with the University of Wales’ Visual Consumer Psychology department, exactly what works and what doesn’t on screens of all shapes and sizes in all environments.
After two years of concentrating on building our digital content production skills and resources, we expanded the team to provide hardware procurement, installation, and support, together with software integration skills. We believed that it was only companies with these capabilities in-house that would be able to take on the largest and most technically challenging digital media projects.
After several years of expansion that, in 2017, led to our inclusion in the Sunday Times top 100 fastest growing companies, we were acquired by a large retail logistics operator, Staci, with a view to bolstering their digital services offer. This led to the opening of our Paris office and, in early 2021, the acquisition of Sepia Digital who we integrated with our existing operations to become Pixel Inspiration Benelux.
We’re now a 75+ strong team dedicated to supporting over 100 ‘big brand’ clients across Europe, including Argos, Boots, Lloyds Bank, TK Maxx, Carrefour, Toyota, Panos, Screwfix and O2.
We’re an award-winning, highly motivated team, but even though we’ve grown significantly, we’ve worked hard to keep our agility and small company ethos. Our clients love this, they know we’ll always go the extra mile to help them achieve their digital ambitions.
